Lutherie – the art of making string instruments, had its origins in 16th century Italy and has expanded around the world. Mexico is no exception, a country with a strong historical tradition of luthiers. This documentary produced with the support of the National Institute of Fine Arts of Mexico (INBA) explores this beautiful art and tradition throughout the centuries.
